Dear cigarette, 

You have comforted me in times of stress, sadness and anger. You have been my steady friend, sitting between my fingers for the past five years. You have never failed me or disappointed me. You were with me from the time I woke up to the time I went to bed. 

But I need to end our relationship now. You have cost me too much money and honestly, you make me smell bad and you make my car smell bad. I know that I will miss you and I know that I will probably miss you for a long time. But I can live my life without you, even though I may doubt myself many times. 

I will make a new friend that will help me get over you.
